Record any conversation on the phone: a meeting, a class, a coffee chat, a fireside talk, an event. Minutes later a diarised transcript is filed, the people in it are updated in the CRM, tasks are extracted and one email says it worked.
Conversations are where the useful information lives, and notes taken by hand are incomplete and never connected to the people or the follow-ups. Meeting bots are intrusive, only work on video calls, and each costs a subscription. I wanted the recording to be the only manual act. Everything after it, transcription, attribution, filing, extraction, had to happen without me.
The calendar decides what a recording is. A file that lands during a scheduled meeting is attributed to that meeting’s attendees; one during a class, a talk or an event goes to that context. The transcript carries speaker labels, so the meeting step can update each attendee’s note with what they said and what they owe. Every recording triggers one self-addressed email, processed or failed, with the reason. If no email arrives, nothing was processed, and I check for that.
